- Don, You should reread Lance's comment. He has a tax exempt certificate, so obviously he has a resale license. His issue is with the online stores recognizing his tax exempt certificate. Obtaining a resale license does not automatically make you exempt from sales taxes.

- Maybe law enforcement should look internally. East Texas is a hotbed of corruption. They protect their own regardless of right or wrong. A unbiased review of cases where the two DAs had worked together might be quite revealing.

- As a former resident of East Texas, corruption exists throughout the legal system. You won't hear about it in the investigation publically, but I assure you it is being investigated privately. Kaufman county, Hopkins county, Williamson county are all frightening places to be.

- With regards to DOMA, is the federal government required to recognize all status granted to a citizen of a state based on State law? A good example would be non-profit status. An entity can be a non-profit for state purposes but not a non-profit for federal purposes.

- KeenInsight, The salesmen are trained in their tactics. Most of my friends have me negotiate their auto purchases because A) my whole career has been dealing with people & B) I know more about the inner workings of a normal dealership.
